Be Happy and Find Happiness

Be comfortable being alone, be comfortable with your inner self. Reflect, rest, relax and meditate. Find inner harmony first, only then will you actively attract outer harmony. Afterall, water seeks it own level.

  • Take time to reflect on your lives, wants and needs
  • Make peace with your inner selves
  • Instead of making happiness an external treasure that is difficult to be found, realize that happiness can be found from within
  • Never undervaule your own stock (yourself), while overvaluing the competition
  • Connect to a higer self or a higher being
  • Instead of thinking of misery as an incurable disease, think of misery as a small point in time that shall soon pass
  • Take time for yourself and limit the energy you spend on those people you find draining
  • Appreciate the natural joy and curiosity of children and animals - they have the best auras and most positive energy
  • Be aware of the joy that can be found in small moments - the ride home from work, the break between classes, your morning shower, the time between going to bed and falling asleep
  • Find joy in meditation, rest and relaxation
  • Be aware of the present moment
. . . .  and now, how is your breathing right at this moment? Are you calm and relaxed? Stressed and breathing rapidly? This influences your energy.

. . . .  and how is your posture right at this moment? Are you sitting in a proper relaxed posture or slouched with shoulders bent forward?  This also influences your energy.

. . . . and have you thought about what you are most grateful for today? Nice weather? A full belly of food and a roof over your head? Your family? Your own inner peace? If you can find nothing to be grateful for, try drinking a cold glass of water and feeling how nourishing and refreshing it is and experience the feeling of gratitude from that one small act.

1 Year

Where did the time go? It has been almost 1 year since I last posted. I would like to make today's post about gratitude.

Each day, I plan to fill my bucket with sunshine. Today, I am truly grateful for the willpower I have been able to tap into (via meditation and the Kundalini Yoga Stretch pose). The results were immediate and will provide a lifetime of reward to anyone looking to release old habits (such as quitting smoking or negative thoughts)

For more information, please see the wonderful creator of anmolmehta.com
There are tons of free articles and videos for all your healing and spiritual goals. Best of all, the content is free. Namaste!

Journal - Inspiration

What a lovely way to start a new journal - with something colorful and creative.

This makes me want to start a new journal. From hrrrthrrr:

page one. (via hrrrthrrr)
I started a new moleskine today. I never know what to put on the first page, but I could never leave it blank.  Lots of things changing in my life right now.  New start…new journal.

Happy Father's Day Dad's

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there.
and . . .  Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's to be.

I Saw God

I saw God during an evening meditation on my pier on the lake.
It was brief and enlightening. He is with me at all times.
